I can no longer put it off.
For the next stage in my development I must learn a shuffle. I seem to be all thumbs. Herb Z.'s is my favorite and I like the one that rhymes with the discoverer of relativity. I'm open to suggestions. I don't have a car and I live in Hastings on Hudson, NY. It's convenient to Metro North (10 minute walk to the station and 30 minutes from Grand Central, less from Croton-Harmon.) The #1 and #6 buses are convenient too. I'll come to you if you'd prefer. I can only afford $25 an hour for lessons so think of it as a contribution to the growth of the craft by a serious student. Do you think I could get reasonably proficient in four one-hour lessons on consecutive Saturdays and practicing by myself 15 to 30 minutes a night three to five time a week? If not, how long do think it will probably take so I'm not spitting cards in all directions? If you have the skills down pat, are accessible by train or bus and are willing to take on a serious student, please PM me. Barter is also possible. I've done work both for Rich Roth (I proofed Homicide) and Chester Sass (I proofed the English translation of 120% Chestosterone) and got high praise for both. I'm a writer by trade and I've written press releases, press kits, web sites, two books, speeches and much, much more. Maybe we can help each other in more ways than on. PM me. This could be good.
I'm selling my hardcover autographed limited edition copy of Jerome Finley's "Thought Veil"
