I am going to be going to Thailand, Chiang Mai mostly and was wondering if there are any "local" Chiang Mai magicians here on the Café.

Isn't there a cival war going on in Thailand? I know a busker from Chicago named Pete that performs on the streets in Thailand, but I don't know now.

My wife and I own a home and have family in Thailand. The kids say it's not the best time to travel there because of the political unrest. Be careful....

Depends really on what part of the country you are in...one part violence and has been for years, the other is more stomping around and chanting then off to work, Have fun!

Small correction
That busker from Chicago that works in Thailand is named Nick, and not Pete.

TC, if you're on Facebook, hook up with a guy called Don Crawford. An Australian magician who lives and works in both countries. He'll look after you.

Santa
Nick is quite a good street performer. He does a silent coin act to music on the streets of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Last year at the Curly's bar closeup competition in Colon, Mi. I came in second, and Nick came in first. Nick came in first in the street performers competition too.
