I have a few questions for you.
Who do you look at for inspiration? What do you think is the most appealing magic to a spectator? Stage or close up? Best Wishes Always, Bradley Morgan

Hmm who do I look up to for inspiration? that's a great question there are and were so many.
I have however must admit that I have been disappointed a couple of times with the people who inspired me or that I looked up to and respected once I met them. Let me explain... Recently I visited the CAM convention and I think that between Banecheck giving me all kinds of marketing advice to just chattin with Shawn Farquhar I met some wonderful magicians including Jeff McBride! There was so many great professional performers here! However there was one professional who I was looking forward to meeting, but when I went up to say hello, he was quite rude with me, didn't want to shake my hand, was extremely 'Fake' with me, seemed to have quite an ego, and so on. Too me that just ruined every little bit of respect I had for the man. Why he was like that, I don't know, perhaps he was just tired but I think he could have been a little more polite. Even Lyndsy was like what was up that guys #$@? If you don't want to talk to other magicians then don't go to conventions. I won't mention his name, but It's a shame that their personalitly didn't match their skill. I would never be like this with anyone. Anyway this wasn't the first expereince I had like this. Its just simply too bad when you look at a performer and think how great they are and then you meet them and it's a big let down. I very curious if anyone else has had similar disappointing experiences. So My inspritation lately does not always come from magic alone anymore. I get my inspiration from just amazing people that I have and continue to meet in and outside of magic. So many people and their positive energy effect so many little and different things in my life. Now Bradley you ask what I think is more appealing to a spectator, Stage or close up? I think that depends hugely on two factors: the spectators and the performer. To me I enjoy all magic equally the same. I love both. I think most spectators love both. There is the larger than life Illusion show with stunning light shows and spectacular props etc, and then there is the 'in your face' 'right under your nose' magic that happens just inches away from them that seems all the more impossible. I think that it is up to the performer to set the mood for his spectators and it is up to performer to control how his spectators are going to feel durring the show whether it be close up or stage. I think it is up to the performer to decide what the spectators are going to enjoy more from watching their performance. P.
