DING........
What? I swear I never touched the bell!!! Told you it was good ;o) Paul. You and I are going to have some words in Vegas my friend. Late, over whiskey and Black Jack if I have anything to do with it. My business plan this year for the Vegas trip. Take $150 to gamble and turn it into $10,000! How is that for a fool proof business plan. Look out Vegas. Now back to the topic we are all here for. Yes Matt...I'm up for the challenge!
Last year I had the same plan...but the Casino foiled it! Maybe this year will be more profitable...we should bring the Bell as a distraction! |

I have been asked how fast the bell can ring repeatedly, and since we need to get this thing back on track I will answer here. On a ring, the plunger needs to go all the way down and back up again before it can go again. That translates to one ring a second. Cheers.

Less is more IMHO - I did include a psychological factors section in the manual regarding my humble opinions on using the ringing of the bell sparingly... I know someone asked if you can do 2 rapid in succession to get the "impatient" ghost... but in the field, and I wrote up an experience around doing a demanding unseen patient in a simulated hospital ward... one ring was enough to get the point across and send some chills down some medical trainees... with no rapid second ring. To me, like all psychic effects, the emphasis on the presentation, psychological conditioning, less is more and so on to really bring people into the mix is the key - the device is just a method to hit your goals across.
IMHO, if you want the multiple ring effect, there is a way to do it with an adjunct method/device you might already own... in fact, you can then also get some spirit whispers in too and have it sound like the vibrations from the bell acting as the voices...but hey, I think I'll save that tidbit for Christopher's Forum. I'm sure many of you will come up with some nifty wild ideas for this bell. As stated also in the manual, there is no ultimate spirit bell - I am sure there will be more as time marches on and new tech or innovations come forward.

Hi gang,
One more interesting thing I found out for those who have this - if you unscrew the depressor a bit... you can do rapid fire DINGing after all... I can now to telegraph messages with it if need be. Bruce

Thanks for the heads-up Eddie: As soon as I get back from my tour through Europe, I'll track down a copy. For those interested as well, I have made some significant improvements to the construction of the bell lately, It now takes me nearly twice as long to make, but I'm even happier now with the quality of the materials and the bell's overall durability.

Actually, I am having trouble sitting in my seat waiting to see the review. Would someone be so kind as to send me a scan?

Just my 2 cents review:
I just ordered this, I have to give my highest recommendations, the DVD is well produced the bell is nicely packaged and it comes with a PDF full of amazing ideas to explore. This is a product of very high quality and finishes, the PDF says it's not the ultimate spirit bell, I disagree with that. I would rate this 10 / 10 ! Cheers. |

WOW!!!!
I just received this today. This is one of the greatest purchases I have ever made!!! This tool was WELL thought out. I am going to have a lot of fun with this bell. The bell is loud and the clapper coming down looks SOOOO COOL !!! So simple and very reliable. The distance of the remote is freakin amazing. I just started reading the ebook pdf .. quite a few routines on there. This is a BARGIN for the price. The cd includes videos going over the operation of the bell. Clear and to the point. Nice job Christopher and Bruce! - Steve |
