Ok I have to give credit to Fibi Morressey for this fabulous idea I would like to share with everyone.
Recently I was hangin out down at Morrissey Magic in Toronto(the infamaous manufacturers of all those great metal spun products like the zombie and dove pan) Anyway I know them very well, and Dan(Herb's son)Morrissey who recently took over the shop was talking to me about Pyro Perception that Im sure all are familiar with. Then Fibi(Dan's wife) starts talking to me about this great idea she has using this. I listened and her idea was great. No wait it was Badass! I took her basic idea and over the last few days I worked it out into a routine that plays as a small miracle to your spectators! You need: -A pen, -A peice of Flash Paper -Pyro Perception gimmick -A Wiregram -A ligher or candle(candle is better and sets the mood) Now make sure that your Wiregram matches the Pyro perception gimmick choice of cards, Or vise versa. Effect: Find an unsuspecting victim. Make sure they do not have any sort of heart problems, because you are about to freak them out pretty badly. Show them some ordinary objects and have them examine them all, A lighter or candle, a pen, a deck of cards, a normal peice of wire, and a piece of tissue paper. Take the deck and force the chosen card. Have them concentrate on their chosen card. Display the wire and have them hold on either end and concentrate on their card sending their thoughts into the wire. Hand them the peice tissue (Flash Paper) and tell them to write down the name of their freely chosen card(yeah right) on this peice of Tissue paper(no need to tell them what the paper really is). Now turn your back as they do this so you can't see(yeah that's it, sure) and tell them that once they have written the name of the card on the tissue paper to wrap up the piece of wire in it, and twist it a bothe ends so that it does not unravel. While your back is turned secretly use the Pyro perception gimmick, and do the special something. Turn around agian, and very slowly with just finger tips take hold of only ONE end of the wire wrapped in the Flash paper. Ask them to concentrate once more on their chosen card. Now hold the wire over the candle(or have them light the lighter) and the flash paper will ignite. Drop the wiregram onto the table and let the flash paper finish burning, and shake your fingers as if just got burned. Now show them your finger tips to reveal the chosen card, the usual gasps will occur and let it sink in for just a moment then, say "whats even weirder is that the wire itself has formed into to the shape of your card" direct their attention to the morphed wiregram, and be prepared for even more screams of shock! No one will quite look at you the same again, not even your own family. Enjoy! P.
