I have enjoyed reading Andrew's new new e-book and thought I would share my opinion......Dare To Be Remarkable is a very concise, well written e-book detailing 7 very serviceable routines that could easily provide any competent performer with 15 minutes of excellent non-gaff material. Not for the beginner, but nothing too difficult to master for the serious student of magic and with an excellent bibliography there is no reason why any advanced moves which may be unfamiliar to you could not be learned from the original sources clearly mentioned. Highly recommended.

I would consider reshooting the video. The Ace production looks quite nice as described in the eBook, but the camera angle makes it difficult to see in the video you posted.

By the way, I'll be posting a full review of the eBook very soon on my blog. I'll make sure to post the link here when I'm finished.

Thanks Caleb. A 'proper' shoot will be done in due course, although the production is much better live than on a still camera because of the natural misdirection afforded by raising the first ace.

Ordered... already using two routines... very nice work

First of all let me state that I am not a card guy. As most of you may know my love belongs to mentalism, but I still enjoy performing high-impact card magic if the situation allows. As simple plots are what I am looking for Andrew's ebook is a great resource for fitting routines.
My favorites are F.T.W. and Thought of card in wallet. Both are visually stunning and suitable for any venue.

THREE in my opinion looks too much like sleight of hand with all that dribbling, culling and stopping.

If you would like to compare DTBR with other publications, I would say if you liked Ben Williams's "Repertoire" you will also enjoy Andrew's book. Simple plots, that are easy to follow, a joy to perform and stunning to lay audiences.

Overall: I enjoyed reading the book and definitely found one or two routines I will use in the real world. And that is what counts.

Please take another look at the three routine and try it out on the people who matter. It really does build and the reactions you will get will make you happy. The moves are ofcourse invisible, or should be.lol
