Hello and thanks for coming.
I was wondering, as a former street performer myself, how did you handle legal harrassment? Did you have a business license? Do you feel that it's necessary to have a business license? What other strategies can be used to avoid problems?

I don't, I only work where I'm welcome. There's lots of places in the US to work....Go where you're welcome
A lot of places want you to have a permit. Some places there's nothing, no permits and no license. Give the chamber oc commerce a call for your city and see what they say. Legally you have the right to work in a public space. THE CONSTITUTION, however sometimes the Police don't know this:)
