Hi all - What would be the best DVDs to start with that would have some basic exercises/techniques for the starting magician?

Pretty much stretching is a must, and strength will come with practice. A gripmaster might help (i use them for guitar) but mind the colors, they're actually for different tensions, not options. Once you get a little more experience and have a need for the slieghts used by D&D Buck, the Trilogy actually has some workouts on it.

...and on an Aldo Colombini DVD there is an interview with him wherein it is asked what he does to warm up and to train his fingers. He gives some exercises. I will look up to find the proper source.
