Hi All,
I've never performed a chop cup routine, but have thought of doing so. Does "Chop" go into enough instruction that a beginner can do it or does it assume you can perform a chop cup routine already? Thanks for any help you can provide. Regards, Steve

The DVD goes over everything IMO to do this. Don't get me wrong, I perform a chop cup routine, but this will take some effort to coordinate the handling with the special item(s) provided. I'd say if you've performed sleight of hand before with coins, cards and other items the learning curve will be lessened. I'd say go for it but be prepared to practice to get it as smooth as Craig. It's obvious he's been performing this for a while and shares with you all those nuances he's gleaned from performing.

Craig leaves no stone unturned on this DVD. I was amazed at some of the finer points he made that most people would simply gloss over. You can see the amount of thought put into every single move and sleight he teaches.

About to take the plunge on this one. Yet to hear anything negative about this effect. I just had a quick query. Would there be any restrictions or difficulty in doing this effect sat down at a table rather than standing? - Thanks on advance for any info

I have purchased and played with this. I have not performed. It is a very nice routine and of course it can be adapted to suit your personality and skill. You do not see a full performance on the demo and every move may not be suited to every person. In addition, I hope I am not giving to much away but the final load is as "Cloutier" type load (don't know if I spelled that correctly) and the pocket space for this might not work for everyone but it certainly fooled me. I find as a hobbyist I don't get to practice routines that require a fair bit of preset often enough to really get comfortable with them. That is just me. Just to give an example, that is why despite the expense I am a fan of the Lightening Box for card to impossible location. Essentially no reset or extra pocket space has allowed me to play with it quite a bit "in the field." I am not certain how often I will get to perform CHOP and will not be able to carry around the needed props (for the final load) casually

How does a lemon take more pocket space then a lightning box?

You gotta buy the trick or ask Craig to answer. Totally worth the purchase price in my opinion. I am really comparing lemons to oramges as they are not at all the same effect. I was making a point about practicing and strolling with a trick with consumables. That's why I am a fiber optics guy and not a cut and restored rope guy |

Ranilperera - I don't see any reason why this couldn't be performed seated. I work a lot in seated situations and this is one of the routines I'm going to put into that set, so it won't let you down!

Got my confirmation e-mail that it's been posted, stupidly excited!
I just hope I can do it justice in performance and hopefully soon too! |

I opened it half an hour ago and I can do it already.
Unfortunately Chris, the required lemon can only be grown on a special tree. You get a packet of magic seeds with the DVD. No worries though - give it three to five years of growing and you'll be all set to rock this thing!

Hi Craig
As previously mentioned in this thread, PBM was your best release to date imho. However, having just received chop I think it has taken top spot. Apart from the chop routine I have been using the gimmick to make things vanish from all sorts of different places. Good thinking my man, good thinking. Andi |

Would be interesting to see what other people are doing with this gimmick! It's got some cool possibilities. If everybody else wants to do all the work and send me their ideas, I'd be happy to steal them and pass them off as my own.
