Anybody got this one yet?
I got mine last week, but I only have had time to jump around in the 4 DVD's.

What I have seen so far is exellent, the quality is outstanding, and Lennart is in a league by himself.

Most of the time he is in a studio, that's looks very much like a studio news are coming from.

On disc one he is an exlusive library, with 40 special invited guests.

As I understand it, most of the effects he does over these 4 discs has been seen and explained before, but some of them are new to me.

Hopefully I will be able to give a full review next week.

Yes, almost all of the card effects can be found on his previous dvd releases and lecture notes.

However, Lennart finally tips off a few key aspects of his Professional Act that have not been previously explained. He also teaches a couple of new deviously convincing card separations, false shuffles and cuts not found in his previous set. He also teaches some new variations and applications of his moves.

The first and second disc discuss the current incarnation of his Professional Act and all the needed sleights and variations thereof.
The third disc contains easy, stack-based, near-automatic routines, which can also be found on Green Lite DVD and his The Green Northern Lights magic lecture notes. You can really find interesting ideas from these effects even if you don't like Lennart's patter ideas.
The fourth disc has miscellaneous effects Lennart likes to do, some of which are very classic stuff. For example, Slydini's coins through table, glass through table and the three shell game. Most effects on disc four are exlained rather briefly. In my opinion, this disc also has some filler material such as Patrick's Aces and Orimagi. However, the disc also contains a nice Rusduckesque poker routine.

The DVD set also includes a touching and funny in-depth interview with Lennart. For example, in the interview Lennart coins the term XPM - extreme puzzle magic Smile

I'd say the DVD set is a must for all Lennart fans, but if you're not a Lennart fan, your mileage may vary. Basically, the set is a streamlined version of his earlier set with some new sleights and stuff from this lecture notes.

I agree. This is my first actual purchase of any Lennart's material. However, I fell in love with his technique the first time I saw his performance. This is certainly one of my favorite purchases. I agree that it will vary for most people though. I love it so far.

Are the stolen cards that are included any different than the his previous version?

I have seen the stolen cards sold separately and was interested if they are of better quality.

I don't have the previous version. I can tell you that the deck I got is bridge size. It is made up of a lot of those "cheap" touristy decks you would find in gift shops... There are a couple of cards from magic conventions in mine though. I don't mind it for right now... I eventually want to make my own. I love the effect itself.

Excellent set of DVDs. Lennart's style is unique in that he is so laid back, is handling appears sloppy but is in fact extremely precise.
A lot of practice willbe required to master many of the handlings, but while you are doing that there are a number of almost self working tricks on the third disc that you will be able to perform straight away - and they are brilliant, have had great reactions with them all.
