Very typical question, but I think it is still important to discuss all the same. What led you into a career in magic? How did you transition from your magical hobby to making it into a full time career?

I look forward to reading your response,
Jordan

When I was 4 years old, my mom gave me the trick where you change a nickel to a dime. I loved the trick. I did my first show when I was in kindergarten and it was terrible, but I was hooked. I moved to Arkansas when I was 11 years old and joined IMB Ring 75. I went to my first IBM magic convention when I was 13 where Harry Blackstone Jr. was performing and Steve Wyrick was competing, performing with his sister.

Then I started competing with an act with water, where I vanished an aquarium of water, much like Norm Neilson's vanishing birdcage. Then I got into comedic illusions - such as the Tanning Bed of Death, which evolved into the Microwave of Death. I then performed anywhere I could - school shows to mall shows.
