I was fortunate to have a member of the forums contact me last week asking if I would like to purchase this, and how couldn't I? Looking forward to learning this! On a dificulty level, how does this compare to say, Garcia's version of the effect? Thanks Smile

I would say Garcia's Torn is much harder because of the angles and sliding you have to worry about.

Wayne Houchin's the angles are stupidly good, flashing is probably the least of your worries.

Plus the ending is super cool too.

" Magicians stop thinking too soon" not sure who to credit this quote to. Not in the case of Wayne Houchin, he has taken a P.H. idea turned it inside out literally and made it into his own masterpiece. Outstanding!

I think I've missed something good too. Although usually I'm searching for mentalism but weirdly, this interests me.

I'd love to buy a copy too.
Some think Houdini used trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage.

Patiently waiting for mine in Canada. Curse you, Canada Post strike. It's probably been sitting at a mail depot somewhere for two effing weeks.

Well, mine arrived in UK yesterday. Delighted I ordered this- great TnR effect and certainly going to go straight into my repetoire once I get the handling down.
Working nightshift in the emergency department tonight and all quiet at the moment- off to tear some cards methinks!
How many cards did you get through Blindside? I've got a couple decks with me and certainly hoping that's going to be enough!

So far... 2 full decks.

I got through about 3/4 of one deck to get it down naturally. I cannot wait to start performing this.

I am a treatment attendant at a chemical dependency center (inpatient) so I'll be ripping up cards throughout the night.

It's not hard at all.

Got mine yesterday. A very clever combination of methods. Very magical and very practical.

Been practicing this for a bit and three days ago was the first time I did it to anyone else. A buddy of mine who is the equivelent to Angry Bob from Magic Fridays. Anyway all he said after was, "OK Glue or rubber cement?" after I gave him the card he couldn't believe it. Love this version...
