Wow I am very surprised to see you don't like the design of Merlin's coffer. I always liked his own design that I find, mysterious and neat. The small string with the pearl, the pretty little translucent black box with bottom and lid with silver dots. What you do not like with the design of this trick ?

In my opinion the idea of the trick is great but there is so much stuff there: a string, the washer, the pearl, the pom pom, the box, the lid.....I feel that it's a little bit saturated.....also if the spectator don't have the chance to inspect the parts at the beggining he could even supose that the free washer was occult in the huge pom pom.

My pearl broke a bit, shaking the thing. Could have been made with stronger pearl.

I vote Magic Patagonia gets his own Magic TV special! He has single handedly brought dead Tenyo magic back to life through his creative and super smooth You Tube videos!

I beleive it was in the Tips section where they suggested removing the plastic clip in the lid and replacing with a piece of thin rubber magnet. That would definitely make the working smoother.

That is in the tips section at TenyoWorld. Would be nice to try if I ever get a spare Merlin's Coffer as my biggest problem with the trick has always been getting the washer to stay where it is supposed to.
Anyone know if anyone makes a square dice bomb trick? It would be nice if you can just use the cover to one of those if there would be one that fits.

In any case when I do this trick I do give all the props to be examined both before and after the trick.

There is 2 persons (or 1 person with 2 computer) who put 1/10 to effect and design for 2012 magic Pop-up card... I'm not sure but it's little bit exagerated ? What do you think ?
