Well, now I want one, so I shot off an order. Great method over many others I have seen.
It is really great when all you contribute to solve a mystery. I just want to say Thank You for being very helpful. |

Which one did you go for? There seems to be two versions. The more expensive one seems to be the "deluxe" but not sure the size or quality difference.

Is there a dove pan in reverse arrangement in the pitcher so you can lift it afterwards? Or is the pitcher stuck on the table.
It would be nice to have the pitcher just about touch the table.. or at least end clean-ish to lift the pitcher at the end. |

Make up guy,if you are still talking about the Glass Gone, the pitcher is not gimmicked like you are thinking. no table needed accept to put the picher down because you no longer need it. See the clip and you will see it in action.

Turns out my friend did not sell his so I am playing with it. It is the modern version made from a 3x5" cocktail shaker. I will say I was a little disappointed in that aspect. The handle is has you see it, a bit crude in how it is fashioned and attached. It truly is a cocktail shaker that they crimp the mouth to make the spout and then attach the handle.
that is all I can . the rest is what you see and if you know how it works, I would say the gimmicks are OK but since mine is older, I can see what will fail or is failing. there is also and issue I have with the cloth. (besides being ugly) I will say it is much quieter, for lack of a better word than I thought. I was impressed with that. An issue I have is about doing this in a house party with people standing. I catch something in the mirror so am seeing how I can work it to be better. It comes down to management of the props I guess. It is really hard to discuss the issues with it in these forums. (Honestly I would not even want to secret session it since it is my belief that that does not really keep the secret since a magician who does not have the prop should not be allowed to view the discussion. ) Really even 100 posts should not just automatically give you the right to view any secret discussion. I do not think you will want to spend the time to make one up if trying to do a direct copy of it since for most making the handle will be a pain and not worth the time figuring how to seal it and then making the gimmicks will probably take longer than you think. But sure, it could be made under the asking price. The best price I saw for the 3x5 pitcher size was $28 . the rather plain juice glass holds 6 oz when full to the top. But to be honest. I am not sure I want to go bigger than this due to how it works. The one on Tannen's site looks the same but then says something about 28 oz size. I think this might be a typo. WMhegbilini, when you get your deluxe version let me know if it is the same size or larger? |

...there is a Tenyo vanishing glass of water effect called "Evaporating glass and water":

This seems to be a remake of one of the effects spoken about. I would like to see a higher resolution video of the effect. Anyway, it is fine but I think as presented has too many props in comparison.

Wow the price tag on the Tenyo one!!! eesh, must be real magic.
OK I have a question. Besides the obvious reason, why cover the glass of liquid and vanish it? |

The guy wrote up his own to try to do it with the pitcher on the table. The one I linked shows it being held. Which is the one in the instructions since I am having doubts the table move is even going to work with that set up. |
