I have a full can of this but accidentally dropped it and the top has completely snapped off (including the small tube that plugs into the push top to spray it). Can anyone offer any help or am I doomed with this can

Michael, from the way you describe it, I believe the same thing happened to me. The way I fixed this was to simply take the spray top off another spray can, like a hair spray or paint spray can, and then inserted it into the Science Friction can. Best of luck,

Is there a "shelf life" for the product? One you start using a can, do the contents at all deteriorate over time ?

Not that I know of.
I was beta tester #1 in the USA months before release and the can still sprays well - contects of that original can still creating miracles for someone that sucks with cards.

If I pick this up at a magic shop while traveling, will I be able to bring it in a carry-on on a plane ?

Actually you can't have it in either. No flying with aerosols.

Simon is talking out of his aerosol! Of course you can put them in hold luggage.

As a beginner struggling with DL's and also struggling to put in sufficient practice, I bought this due to the positive reviews. No regrets at all. Some may accuse me of short cutting, but hey , life is short and I can do stuff with cards now that would have taken me ages to perfect. Wonderful product
