If we can't redistribute the wealth, we'll just eliminate it Smile They weren't doing anything with all that money anyhow.

When we ALL have less money we won't feel as guilty when compared to all the rest of the world. Don't you know?

I'm glad Payne admits to this. Isn't this the definition of Socialism? It's goal is to make everyone equally miserable.

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Yes. And we're all the losers.

Sniff' I was going to sell off my stock purchase plan shares to buy a new car later this year. Guess I get to keep driving the ol' clunker around for a while.

I just wish they'd get the value of the dollar up to where it was at the beginning
of the decade, so it wasn't so expensive to travel overseas.

The dollar is actually on the way up, as compared to the Euro at least, and gold took a hit.

Just curious as to who is to blame. Many are talking double dip. Heck if this was 2005 we would already be hearing stories of impending ruin. Just want someone to step up to the line.

Well at least someone admits it. http://hotair.com/archives/2011/06/15/wa......he-says/

Hey I guess this is what recovery looks like huh?

You can buy europe for a dollar if you want it.

Tomorrow may tell the real story. If it rebounds 250 or 300 points not such a big deal. If it drops further that makes for a tense weekend. That reason alone may be enough to drive some selling.

Danny,

I'm headed to Germany and Switzerland next month.
In 2001 the dollar was worth about $1.10 to the Euro, today it's about .71,
The dollar was worth about $1.70 to the Swiss Franc, today it's around .76 cents.
That's a big big difference. Dollars got a long way to go.
There are some countries where the dollar has dropped in half since the beginning of the decade.

The obvious solution is to just print a lot more money. I've been to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing - they can churn out a lot of cash in a day. Just let the machines run for a week or two. Problem solved.
