Had to skip Magic Live for birth of my son (wife wouldnt let me attend birth via skype). For those that were there, what were the hot new effects?

Illusionist also had a bending fork which was unbelievable, however it was released prior. Magic Magazine has a listing of the new introductions.

Eric - I have the same excuse as you!! Congratulations. That's why I had to cancel lectures in the USA in August and my week at the Castle. My wife is expecting any day now.
The Ellusionist team were next to my booth at a recent Canadian convention and had SMOKE (but not for sale then). I think it's the best version of producing smoke from your hand I've seen. It doesn't use chemicals (uses steam like the ecigs). As soon as it comes out I'm getting one - so many great uses. It won't destroy your clothes like a lot of other versions. I know Craig from Pro-mystic released a new effect - I'm a huge fan of his work and own and perform most of his material. I also had an email from Kevin James who said he was releasing his new Snow animation so I guess that was released there as well.

Early congrats Paul! I agree about craig's stuff. I'll be ordering Finders Keypers. Smoke is super cool, but after seeing the video detailing the setup, not sure it's worth the effort.
