Just thought I'd share some clips from the new The Magic of Puppets 2 DVD set. I'm very pleased with it and think there is some great stuff on it for entertainers of all levels.

Very good stuff Colin! I'm excited to get the Axtell Coloring Book into production! Colin uses it to "order" a new puppet from us in his show, which ends up being the Wildthing in the Green Machine you see in the video. Very cool routine!

Just to clarify, although the clip just shows extracts from the live show, here's what you get.
The first DVD is a full puppet show including my balloon warm up followed by and explaination of all the tricks used in the show.
The second DVD is a discussion between my self and Jeremy from Practical Magic about choosing puppets, staging your puppet, how to convey emotions plus some great ideas about the type of magic tricks you can do whilst operating a puppet.

Doug/Colin,
Thanks for the info on where to get the DVD. I am just starting down this path to entertainment. I am particularly interested in combining magic and a puppet.

I've sent out several of these now and I'm interested to hear what people think and what they are going to put in their shows.

I recieved my copy from Colin and the 2 DVD set is everything he says. It is fantastic. It is great for the beginner or the long time puppeteer. It give some great ideas and tips and you get to see Colin do his show. I would recommend it for anyone that would like to add puppets to thier show or those who want to add additional routines to thier current puppet program. Well Done Colin !

I purchased my copy from Axtell. I am very happy with the DVDs. I like Sir Nigel and the sheepdog the best.

Hey Colin, REALLY enjoyed your DVDs. It seems we share a passion for puppetry as well an vent. What a wonderful experience watching you with a roomful if delighted children and just as fascinating seeing you discuss and demonstrate the art of puppetry on the second disc. Thanks for sharing such a wealth of information and I look forward to meeting you someday.

Glad you liked it Steve. I think we have the best job in the world, playing with toys and talking to ourseves, plus constantly being rewarded by the sound of laughing children.
