Anyone read the thread on handlordz? Tudor suggested a face off with none other than Jerry Cestkowski at the Superhandz Convention. A one on one battle!

It's not for sure yet, but man wouldn't that be cool? Smile

Does Brian really think he has a chance against the Flourishman? This is going to be ugly!

Don't do it. I really don't want to see Brian Tudor get hurt.

I don't know. They're both good. I've never seen either of them in person; so it's hard to say, but it will be good if it happens.

Nah, Tudor’s got no chance. Tudor does his stuff really fast, that's it. Jerry has volumes of material that he has figured out the exact speed, style and angle it should be performed. Jerry will just outlast Tudor with no problem.

Yep, read that! But De'vo wants to get it in writing from both of them! Good move. lol, That way no-one can bail.

I also read that they will make a DVD of the battle. TOO COOL. A flourish nuts dream-come-true. The heavy weight division is on!

Tudor is faster but Jerry’s lots more elegant with his moves like Devo is, so there would be no contest as Jerry would win hands down! Smile

It all depends on who the judges are and what criteria the battle would be. If speed was a factor, the Jerry might get eaten alive, but if it’s volume of material, then Tudor would definitely get smacked. They should have a battle in which laymen are the judges. Laymen that have never ever seen anyone do flourishes.

I agree with iamslow. Flourishers should not judge other flourishes.

No way,

Laymen would not know what to judge on. You have to take into consideration the amount of skill, creativity, timing, technique, originality and so on. A layman would not even know where to begin. That's like asking Joe Schmoe to judge a boxing match.

I've seen Brian before; he does some great stuff for hours at a time.
Anytime you have someone judge it is tainted. You can't rely on judges, but you can rely on a clock, so I say they do it for time flourishing for as long as they can while starring at each other in the eyes, the first one to either break eye contact or drop a card loses.

Tudor has the speed, but Flourishman has the reach. Tudor in 7. Smile
