Novel, simple, and worth the money.
I bought some cheapo balloons from "Wallyworld" as well that seem to do the trick. What is very noticeable and apparent to you may not be for others. I haven't bought any magic in a while but I had to pop my balloon on this one. Just my 2 cents... Mack

Just bought this and watched it. I like it a lot. Well worth the price for the working performer. I'll head out in the morning to buy some balloons to practice.

I performed this today for my magic club's Saturday get together. Did it just before I left. Some of the really experienced guys seemed to have dropped jaws. Did it and left. I wish I had a mouse in the corner to hear the comments afterwords.
I still would like to find nontransparent balloons, but with proper hand and balloon management it hasn't been an issue at all so far. I'm using Party City balloons, and they have been great. Actually the Walmart balloons also worked just fine. Just pay attention to the position of your hands when you blow the restored balloon up, and it pretty much becomes a nonissue. Sammy

Did this one all weekend. It's great! I like to let the spec blow up the balloon as a convincer, and then tie it and give it to me. I then add the gimmick which was palmed and go from there. It works every time!
It would really be quite tragic
if the world had to do without magic! |

Theboywonder - I personally think the trick is much stronger if you're able to show your hands empty before the trick. But I'm happy you're having fun with the trick. nonvpro - I have yet to find a balloon that is 100% opaque. If it were, the trick wouldn't work because the balloon would be too thick.
I have begun to see a lot of performances floating around online of this trick and it's a pretty exciting thing to see! |

I wonder how this will work combined with the balloon tick from mark Jeneset. Some similar techniques and you get a production. Might be woth a try.

I'm working on a routine with this trick and a demo of needle through balloon using scotch tape as a sort of "Mr. Wizard" bit.

Michael Kent is one of the few in the magic-world who has actually used his hands to hold a pen to paper and take the time to send an actual letter of appreciation, which, is one of my most prized possessions. I have great respect for someone who does that in this day and age. It is no suprise to me that he would come up with some kind of genius-idea to perpatrate magic on people. A wizard of real class!
That was awesome! Thanks Michael.....Michael M. |

Just an update - I will be printing a DVD version of repAIR, which will be for sale in the very near future.
(this means the trick will be taught on a DVD, not that I'll be offering a popped and restored DVD) Thank you for the kind words, everyone. Again, I'm flattered by all the positive feedback this effect has received. |

These are perfect! Brilliant!
I've been using 5 inch balloons from sempetex and those work great! Some possible ideas could be using smiley faces, or even heart shaped balloons! Tons of possibility. Someone mentioned about using it after needle through balloon too! Having said that, whatever it is, keep it simple and it'll be great! Good purchase! |

Heart shaped balloons! Have you tried it with them? That would be awesome. Lends itself to a great story.
