I'm looking an effect that used by Graham Jolley on fool us (first effect, not the 2nd effect with card). here's the video link:

The generic name for this kind of effect is 'Quantimental'. It refers to physical items being removed from a holder or container and you then being able to read minds. In Graham's case it was coloured balls from a box, but there are other variations on the same theme - they could be small tokens removed from a case or cards removed from a folder. You will find it difficult to obtain the exact same prop that Graham was using, but there are many variations on this same theme. There are some that you can even make up for yourself.

Just looked at the product, Seth, on the link.
Haven't seen it live, but the attention is all on the box and not on the balls or the performer. What I like about Quantimental is that the attention is on the perfomer. Although a bit tall, just a bit, the Quantimental box looks very innocuous. This box, in the picture, grabs all the attention. Have you seen it performed? |
