I would like to let people see my cobra cut. It's not perfect, but I think it's pretty good.
Go to my site http://www.angelfire.com/magic/acemagic18 Then click on videos and download the flourishes video. |

EXCELLENT!
I loved the pen spinning. The opener was cool as well. |

Why don't you credit the moves? You credit Lee Asher, but not for your flourishes. Why not? Do you want people to think you invented the pyramid cut, and the cobra?

Hmmm. Yeah, where are those credits to De'Vo and to Jerry?? The only 2 best moves on your site and they aren't even credited. I hate when people like this don't credit.

LOL, very funny! lol
The original is from Jerry Cestkowski, published in the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes, pg. 498 And cardboy learned it from the Pyramid teaching video his friend sent to him. |

Whoops sorry about the crediting. I'm going to do that right now.
The crediting is all done. Any other problems just let me know. |

Not bad, I am glad you credited the true people though.

LOL. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. And btw, it’s not Jerry’s Cobra Cut, its De'Vo's cobra cut. And I highly doubt that De’Vo or Jerry is a friend of yours. lol

Trick Pony,
What are you talking about man? You came up with what? Please fill me in. You are even messing up names with cuts. If Jerry is a friend how come you don't even know which cut is his? How did a tabled cut like the Pyramid inspire the Cobra? I know of another guy that does an in the hand Pyramid cut, I'm not sure of the name of the cut. The guy that does it is Joey Burton if I'm not mistaken. Your name is Jeff not Joey. I'm asking you legit questions and I hope you can answer them. Cardboy, I'm not going to lie here. You are sloppy as heck. I give you props for trying and sharing what you are working on though. I'm sure you are going to get way better over time, so keep up the good work. Tighten up on the pyramid. Didn't you look at the instructional video? Why are your hands coming away from the 2 packets on the table? It just looks bad. Tighten up the formation and you won't have to slide the packets at the end. Everything will just come together. I still give you props for trying though. |

Alright guys, if you’re going to post a video of Cobra or something. I suggest you run it by Jerry or De'vo.
And if you don't run it by him, then definitely don't do the Cobra cut so slow that people can figure out an easier way to do it. |

As I said in MVD, I really like your PENSPINNING.
The BRS (or something else) and especially CARD spinnings were horrible. For the Cobra cut, the catching part has to be improved. It's not like the way De'vo (You can say it's Jerry or whatever) did. lol Peace, Bone. Quote:
