I have heard such great things about this method. I am curious where I might find footage and explanation from Roger. I was convinced he put out a video with the works, but all I can locate now is his book 'In Concert'. I would like to see it in his hands. The 'In Concert' DVD series doesn't show this effect in its contents.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you. |

I leared the bill switch from Roger Klause's Greater Magic Video Library VHS video tape.
I had to reverse it because I do it left handed It is now available on DVD. http://www.stevensmagic.com/index.php?ma......_id=5664

It's been years since I've seen the Steven's vid of Roger teaching the bill switch but I'm just about positive he goes into exact detail on it all. If not get vol 3 of the the Skinner footage that Houdini's put out on the bounus disk there is a lecture that Michael Skinner and Roger Klause teamed up on. In that lecture Roger goes over every detail on the bill switch. |

Thanks for the replys. I read in (Switch - Jon Lovivk) that Roger made many improvements on his handling since the Stevens video shoot, so my questions related to this. RS1963, Are you referring to 'MICHAEL SKINNER'S PROFESSIONAL CLOSE-UP MAGIC 4-VOLUME DVD SET'? This would satisfy the search as I was hoping to find more current footage of Roger teaching the sleight.
Posted: Nov 17, 2011 2:57am The one produced by Houdini's is called 'Michael Skinner on TWO VOLUME DVD SET', but contains as the title suggests, 2 DVD's. |

The two DVD set that was already mentioned is the one that has the Skinner/Klause lecture included. |

I have seen many magicians do their $100 bill switches, including Kozlowski's, but the best I have ever seen, by far is Roger Klause's.
Roger was a friend, a sweetheart of a guy, and did many favors for me and I miss him very, very much. He was a Magician's Magician, a THINKER, and a huge disciple of Vernon's, yet sought to improve the technical aspects of the close-up magic he performed to near-perfection. I would make a serious recommendation here that you get the Book "Roger Klause In Concert", because the routine published in that book is prefaced by a comment saying that this particular version of the $100 bill switch may be Roger's Number 1 contribution to the art of Magic, and the routine published in the book has Roger's newest handling which had evolved and changed since the Video was filmed. The routine published in the book beginning on page 149 is 10 pages long, complete with detailed descriptions and photos. The book also contains a GOLDMINE of information about many many other tricks and routines that Roger did beautifully, like cards, linking rings, linking finger rings, silk-dyeing, and on and on and on. HIGHLY recommended. |
