Sounds good! How much is it?
Seriously, I have unfortunately bought far too much magic that I cannot use. Sometimes the magic is just not practical for my intended purpose. That can happen even if the creator puts out a good product. Sometimes due to deceptive advertising, a product has limited use. This can be frustating because the creator knows that the product will not operate as advertised or how a consumer expects it would. Reviews should include this information and many do exactly that now. The worst case scenario is when magical creativity is no longer made available to the magic community because no one wants their ideas "borrowed" so that someone else can make money off of a creator's hard work. Would you release a real worker that took a lot of time and effort to design and make, only to have someone else sell it? Why release it? Generally speaking, the most impressive magic comes from magicians that have used their creations in the trenches under real world conditions for many years. |
