I saw this film a while ago and I thought it was interesting. It's a documentary that does what this forum does: discusses the relationship between magicians and assistants. I'd recommend it because I've come across so few films like it.

Was it something you saw on TV, cable, Netflix?

This is the link to the film. There is a short 60 second commercial before the film. It is quite interesting and well worth the watching.
Illusion and magic is the same, if it was possible to achieve the impossible by genuine powers then it wouldn’t be impossible and therefore it wouldn’t be magic. That’s why magic is an art; the art of creating the illusion of the impossible.

It was streaming on Netflix briefly. Hope it comes back. I'd love to see it again
