Interesting…when I type in the address, it gives me page not found.
Using Google takes me to the page that says he’s taken it down. Using a linked shortcut on my browser bar takes me right to the main menu, where all the books are listed. That looks fine. I’m not guessing any more…something’s still not right. Sorry for the false alarm. Hudson, PM’d you.

I have this link:
http://thelearnedpig.com.pa/magos/ where 'magos' is the username which was given to me when I registered. This open a form where I can type in username and password and then I have access to the site. So for me it is apparently working again? Any other explanations? mlippo |

Maybe someone with an account will copy the data and host/offer the info to everyone.
If I had access to the data, I would dl/copy everything and host/steward it an instant for all at my dot com. |

Some of it (about half) is in HTML format, so it can’t be easily copied. I did take a few hours to DL everything that was in PDF format. I believe everything here is now “public domain”, but don’t feel I have a right to redistribute it. Much of this material was donated or on loan from specific individuals.
A few people have tried to contact Marko, and hopefully together they will find a way of keeping this vital collection available to the appropriate masses!

I did the same thing a couple of days ago and ran into the same problems with the HTML ones. I think you would have to copy every individual page and then redirect the HTML links to a folder on your computer, which would take a ridiculous amount of time. So, I've just copied select documents. I hope someone does come up with a good solution to keep it going.

There are a few good programs that will copy every html page however deep you want to dig.
a good plugin for FireFox is Scrapbook and it will copy everything as deep as you want. You don't have to do much except click and save. very easy, and for the LAZY people, it does not take much time to save html. saving html coding is so easy, d***, I've been doing this for years, saving websites etc. wish I had access. someone will save the data. |

Does that software change the HTML links to a local source as well then? If so, I'll get that and have a go.
Thanks. Tim |

If I don't have an account can I still download the site and access stuff?
ANd the whole tarbell course is still there? It's so annoying how I found out about this only days after it stopped working. |

I'm with Henri - is there anyway to access this without an account? I didn't know this place existed till I stumbled onto this thread!!! Anyone planning to download the content and host it elsewhere?
