I am new to the Magic Café so will take me time to get used to it. I was drawn to it from a Google search a few years ago when there was discussion about Trouble Wit. and where to find them. Currently I am making (folding) colored & white ones and they are being sold by Magic Inc in Chicago and Daytona Magic in Florida. I wanted to ask David Kaye ( I am one of his fans) if he used this prop. It packs small and plays real big. I used it in my school shows and other shows with mixed audiences & adults and it has always gone over well !!! If you go to either of these magic dealers they have a video clip on their web site from Youtube of me performing my whole routine using a white trouble wit. I am in the porcess of getting a colored one on Youtube...........give me about month or two.

Welcome 204rags,
I used to do Trouble Wit quite a bit in the past. As you say, sourcing was an issue so I spent a lot of time in repairs. Best luck in your project. I hope someone will make this up in Tyvec. -Mary Mowder |

Thanks Mary ..........glad you are using it or used to. The ones I make are slightly smaller than those made by Jim Reilly of New Zealand which are no longer available. Both Magic Inc in Chicago and Daytona Magic in Florida state that mine are smaller. This is because presses are smaller these days ...........remember 10-15 years ago newspapers got narrower. By the way Mary you can prolong the use of trouble wit by using clear packaging tape not cellophane tape. Just put it over the tears ............... this will not interfear with the use of the trouble wit.
