So, the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic just passed.

On that note, this gave me a chuckle.

More corgi pics with titanic captions at the link above. The background to the corgi story is here.

Those pics are so funny.

I have a good friend (Michael Wehrli) who, a number of years ago, wrote a play called "Titanic: The Aftermath". It got great reviews, but had not been performed in some time. With the 100th anniversary, he has had his play produced in a few different theatres, and he has been flown out to attend. I really hope these events launch this play into more theatres across the country. He and his play certainly deserve it.

My ex-cat is named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

There's no less than two animated films out there, one is pretty much "Cinderella" at sea

and the other actually has everybody getting off the ship safely (with the help of the giant octopus who accidently (sp) threw the iceberg into the path of the ship in the first place... I am not kidding here.)

Actually, I got those reversed. The octopus movie was the first one and the "Cinderella" version was a quickie ripoff of the first!
