Hi guys.... got "blown" away by someone using an electric pump at a festival last weekend.... seemed so much easier on the body than using a floor pump for hours on end. Lots of the twisting I do is festival work... twisting almost non stop for 8 plus hours... LOTS of balloons and often consecutive days. Have almost narrowed it down ( but am open to other suggestions) to either the high end majiloon or the balloon hero ( +?).
Does anyone have a preference? best tom

The Majiloon is great. You can even keep an extra battery with you for those REALLY long days.

I used my new Majiloon for the first time yesterday at a large party. The Majiloon cranked right through everything beautifully. Fitting the 160s on the nozzle was the only thing that seemed akward, Previously, I used a T. Myers Pump O for the past 18 years and was quite happy though I wouldnt inflate 160s with this either. The Majiloon was easier to carry, slightly faster to use and I didn't have kids trying to play with it while twisting.

They have a new nozzle that I had them put on mine that makes it easier to blow up 160s. However, I'm not sold on the new nozzle yet.

I'll stick with the hand pump for the 160s. It was certainly terrific on the 260's and larger.

Probably a good call. Sending my majiloon back and having the old nozzle put back on.

Now that I have had a chance to put the Majiloon into action, I can officially say that I love it. I've done some large parties and a restaurant gig. I have inflated 160's but it takes some time to get the nozzle on enough to inflate. 260's and above are a dream.

What does it mean when your charging your SLA Majiloon batteries and the charger is rotating the green and red light instead of staying solid?

These pumps are so easy to make. Go to your local auto stores. You will save money.

I swear by my majiloon pump. With that said, now that I own one, I could easily reproduce it. Not very hard to make once you know the recipe.

Christopher I thought you had your own electric pump that you were selling?

Yes, Bernie - that's what I thought! What goes on here?

Hi
Could someone give an indication as to how many balloons an electric pump can inflate on a typical "full charge". Would also appreciate any information on how long the battery takes to fully recharge. Thanks Mick |

I have a Majiloon. The battery lasts about 3 hours if I'm pumping them out fast. For a slow gig, it could last 4-5. It takes a while to recharge. Couldn't tell you exactly because I just plug it in at night, then it's good in the morning.

You can make your own pump. If you want it to last a while all you need to
Do is get a larger battery. I made the one from direction that I got from The magicnook.com instead of the 5 amp hour battery I use a 7amp hour Battery. Or you can do what the other guy said and copy someone else's ... I prefer to make my own. |

What I did back in the day was to have two or three batteries in my bag. I use 12V. Battery.
