Nowadays, in the field of magic,
Who are the current (living) magicians whose you enjoy the work / style ? or whose are inspiring you ? Are there young rising/promising magician, whose we must follow the work ? [...same question with the dead magicians who inspired you...] Thanks in advance |

My favorite contemporary magician is Ricky Jay. He shows everyone that magic can be theatre at his best. T. A. Waters and Max Maven's work inspired me a lot too.
One of the young magician that should attract once attention,is the other Jay: Joshua. I've been inspirated by many magicians, but Vernon and Slydini are still atop of my list. |

Dani DaOrtiz comes to mind, as does Gregory Wilson, both are genius for entirely different reasons. Should also include Paul Harris not so much for now, but back in the day he was the man.

And don't forget some of your fellow magicians from Belgium who should attract once attention like Aaron Crow & Rafael for their stage work and people like Marc Decoux & Carlos Vaquera for their Close-up magic.
