This is what we've been waiting for. It has coin AND card applications!
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/2700 TKO 2.0 is a utility device that works with any button-up shirt. It allows you to perform all of the clean and visual vanishes of the original TKO while adding the killer card techniques made possible by the Ultimate Card Control Utility (UCCU). The UCCU–and now, TKO 2.0–allows you to secretly yet flawlessly maintain control over one or more cards while the spectator shuffles the deck. The cards can then be produced from the deck or found in an impossible location, such as an envelope that has been in plain sight the entire time. The Improvements: All new 50-minute DVD with voice-over instructions. This package includes both a black and white TKO 2.0 so that you will be prepared for any colored shirt. The setup is now quicker and easier with the included custom pre-threaded sewing kit. We have also included a method that requires no sewing whatsoever! The construction of the utility is more durable and works better with larger coins. It is designed to work with both tucked-in and untucked button-up shirts. There are two built-in retrievals, one for tucked-in shirts and one for untucked shirts. For untucked shirts, there is also a built-in “plinko” system that allows you to vanish coins one after the other while reducing the “clink.” The Ultimate Card Control Utility is built into the design. New coin techniques, included a multiple-coin vanish and a one-handed coin vanish. New card techniques and applications. Six new routines! Sounds very good! I also really like they're giving white and black gimmicks in the same package.
I've been holding out on buying UCCU for some unknown reason.. I guess I was waiting for this!

I was lucky enough to get one of the prototypes many months ago, and I can honestly say that this is the "it" factor. It has the functions to work perfectly for both cards and coins. You can even vanish multiple coins without any sound of the coins clicking. It's absolutely easy to set up, and with little practice, you'll be fooling even magicians.
I don't have the new dvd that is being sold with it, but I bet it's fantastic. I honestly love the TKO 2.0. It's so easy once you get the hang of it. Getting the hang of it isn't hard either. Man, with all the new stuff you get with it, I may just have to order another one to get the dvd and white version. I can't say enough about it. It is what it's advertised to be...and more. Best investment I made in the last year and a half.

Bobby,
I would assume that because mens shirts all button the same way (ie: opening to the right) that it is only going to work one way. This is not a topit in the traditional sense so it cant be swapped from side to side... Hope that helps!! Judah

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. Get it!
Yes the new TKO 2.0 is larger than the original TKO and the UCCU, but it incorporates both utilities into one. The DVD that comes with it is a nicely produced instructional DVD by the Magic Estate with plenty of handlings and ideas. I feel that Jeff Kaylor does a nice job with the creation of TKO 2.0 and I'm really impressed with the production value of the DVD. |

Doesn't your shirt buttons the same way regardless if you're a lefty or not?

Yep Jaysee the Shirt buttons the same way but the way you handle the deck and other thing are a bit different. I know when I bought the UCCU there were handlings for lefties. I think the best option would be to see of Jeff Kaylor would be willing to sell a "pattern" to TKO 2 for a cheaper rate and then have a tailor or someone that can sew well make one up for you.

Got mine today and ... WOW.
Even though I already have and use TKO and UCCU, this is still worth getting. Having one utility to work with cards and coins is a real plus, and it has been improved and well constructed. The DVD is loaded with various vanishes and transpositions. There are many utility moves and passes, and then several applications and effects that can be done with this utility. Jeff has added a lot of new ideas since his last offering. There are some cool card ideas, too. His card to prediction envelope is quite well constructed. This DVD will get your creative juices flowing for sure. Unlike a standard topit that should not be overused, this device is so versatile that it can enhance many of the effects that you already do. The only reason you may not want this device would be that you just don't want to wear a button-down shirt. If the shirt is no problem, you won't be disappointed. The shirt can be worn tucked in or out. You get 2 TKOs - white and black, a well done DVD, extra materials needed to set it up (not difficult), and access to a members area to share ideas. I haven't actually used this yet, so I will give a review of how well it works in the real world (I am a full-time worker) as soon as I try it out. Congratulations Jeff. - Dennis |

Can you wear a fez with the new TKO, or are there hat restrictions?

Thanks, Zombie Magic. I just spit soda all over my screen from the laugh you just gave me.
On topic, I think I'm sold on this. Held off on the original, but now that you have the cards and coins in one...seems pretty good. RO |

So would I be right in saying that you receive a Black AND a with gimmick with your purchase or is it like the uccu and you have to choose one colour or the other?
