My apologies if this was covered in another thread but I searched and couldn't quite find a definitive answer... Can you hand out the bills to be examined after doing Extreme Burn?
Thanks! |

Absolutely. There are a few methods covered on th Extreme Burn 2.0 DVD, not sure if it they were included on the original handling.

2.0 includes a couple of different ways to end with the bills inspectable.
Even if you're not handing the bills out it's probably worth it because you can casually drive home the point that they've really changed. |

Yes you can - very easily. It is covered in the DVD It is simply a personal preference if you choose to hand out the bills or not for inspection.

The handout is kind of a cleanup anyhow, so it's arguably worth doing every time - not to hand them out, just to end with a super clean display.

The best thing is to sometimes use ONE of the 20's to actually pay for something - haircut, a beer, etc...
I mean you aren't going to hand out all the 20's - there is surely no need. Also using one of the 20's - after showing all of them cleanly - is an ideal prover and simply adds a nice little element to be used sparingly for special occasions. Getting new crispy 20's is a slight pain so I only do this once in awhile. There is certainly no need to hand out or show all the bills - no way. I also think that would take away from the effect. Handing out one $20 bill is an ideal red herring if you are in the mood.

Where is the logic in handing the notes (sorry - bills!) out anyway?
What exactly do you do whilst they are examining them.........a song and tap-dance routine?

I use five ones to six twenties. That extra twenty allows me to pay for something from the pile of bills without screwing up the "stack".

I currently use ones to hundreds for me it gets a better shock value. But I kept my original set up with ones and twenties and wish I could order just the extra gimmick to have both versions always ready. The ones to twenties is great for paying for something. Now when I change them to hundreds I say I guess I'll just use a credit card instead. Maybe I'll contact Richard and see if he'll sell just the gimmck with proof of purchase of the DVD. It's not super hard to switch the gimmick back and forth, but like I said, I'd like to have both versions set up at all times.

What is the difference in extreme burn 2.0 and Steve Haynes and out 500? I was just wondering if it was easier to hand out or was better I have the 500 and wondered if I needed to upgrade.

As a side note;
One time I showed the workers at my local 7-eleven EB 2 . I used one of the $20 to pay and they refused to accept it. They thought it would change back to a one dollar bill after it was put into the register.

Also the gimmick will last forever. As long as there's money and you remember how to make up the setup. You will have a effect that will last you a lifetime.

I transferred the instructions for preparing the gimmick to a flash drive. The first time I prepared the gimmick, I had a laptop right in front of me, so I can follow step by step. That was over a year ago, I prepared 3 gimmicks. Ones to 5s, ones to replica 100s, and ones to million dollar bills.
The next time, I will have to do the same and watch the video to prepare the gimmick.

My gimmick actually began to oxidize and stained my bills after a couple of years. Stuck out like a sore thumb. I had to disassemble, sand it down, clear coat it, and remake my gimmick.
I have the first gimmick...not sure if that was improved on with 2.0, but just a forewarning to those that do. |

I don't want to hijack this thread, but has anyone tried Extreme Burn with UK £20 notes and slightly trimmed lottery papers ? I think they are pretty close in size.
