A massive thanks to Ian.
A short review - I can't go in to too much detail for obvious reasons (well obvious to me and some others) Great craftsmanship, this item does exactly as described in the catalogue (p44 if you want to know where to find them although they do not come with the cuffs and severed arm shown in the picture ..... But you don't really expect them to do you?). And they look great. Seriously good product! Just like other examples of Ians work that I have the build quality is excellent from the ground up and you will not be disappointed if you want the best that is available (disclaimer I don't have anything made by Richard and Sherry S they may produce stuff as good as Ian does I don't know anyone over here who has some of their stuff). Instructions are fool proof (and I mean that ...... Even with some of the really foolish fools in the world). Buying from him could not be simpler. Look the item up in the catalogue, check he has it in stock and send some money (PayPal works fine). Turn around 8 days from initial contact (me to him) to delivery - not bad. Delivery galf way round the world in less than a week! Thanks Ian I will really enjoy using theses! |

I just wished Canada was closer to save shipping. To have a Water Torture Cell in my lounge room would be great. Richard's work looks great and the photos force some to only dream.

He could always send it put a part at a time and you build it ..... The only thing is that water is really dense and a cubic meter of water weighs about a ton. Now that is going to be expensive

The mafia sold dehydrated water back in the 1930's (?) you could ship that!
The weight on the floor is a sticking point. A bank here in Victoria needed to install a new upright safe. For the week before delivery, workmen concreted a three foot wide path from the front door to the back of the bank, under the floor. On the next Monday, the new safe was wheeled in and set over allocated spot. Seconds later it crashed through the floor boards to the ground below. Only 2 inches of the new safe was visible. The workmen had knocked off early for Friday and didn’t finish the last yard. A month laster the replacement safe was arrived and was wheeled in. In sits two inches higher on a very solid base.

Like a Laurel & Hardy film, or a 3-Stooges short, to be more specific.

It cost the bank's (concreter's ?) insurance about $20,000.00 (over 40 years ago) no laughing matter.
