Any good ideas about a Christian ladies night.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Subcontract out to a female entertainer? I mean, what are you asking? Which tricks to use? It's oft repeated on the Café, it's not the trick, it's the performer that's entertaining. Look at what you have. Do the tricks/routines you know and adapt the patter to fit the audience.
ie - change a full size ladies sweater to a doll size one under the guise of a husband attempting to do the laundry to surprise his wife. (boy will she ever be surprised!) Use a sweater from the audience (pre-arranged) Use the wiz kote (or similar) convert a ladies purse into a change bag. Load it with lots of "appearing" stuff while talking about how your mom had anything she needed, whenever she needed, in her purse. (one time while shopping my mom couldn't reach the top shelf, so she pulled a 6 foot pole out her purse to be able to reach it ... I was having a "sad" day so mom pulled a giant lollipop out of her purse ... the restaurant was out of ketchup so she pulled a bottle of ketchup out of her purse to put on my hamburger) mental epic with a shopping list theme ... etc. |
