In another thread I mentioned a poem I wrote for Skinner's Ultimate Monte. It's now posted in the "Once upon a time" section under the title " A Lesson Well Learned ". It seems long but at a relaxed pace it takes @ 3 minutes. Please give it a read and let me know what you think.

I just read it! LOVE IT! I will learn your poem for this routine! I have never had an issue with folks grabbing for the cards b/c my audience management skills are very good, but this is gold and I just cannot pass this up! I love a good story bit...

There are a lot of good comedy opportunities. I.E. After the first revelation on the line "this game wasn't as simple as he said it would be" You'll get a big audience reaction like "Oh My God" or "No Way", I look at them and say "That's what I said." Always gets a laugh. |
