It seems a lot of people are buying the Predator Wallet just because of one single trick : the Psycho Killer routine.
If you think about it, you could do the same trick without the wallet. All you need is a swammi gimick. The effect is the same but less expensive. Hope this helps |

I know of several guys who use the Predator. Each person has his wallet set up for a really cool and unique routine. The Predator wallet isn't a trick; it's a utility device. I would compare something like this to a topit or a thumbtip. These items all allow a magician to create some strong magic. The sky is the limit as far as effects go.
I think that the reasons why so many people have bought on to the Psycho Killer are that it's not difficult and it's a great trick. However, there are undoubtedly countless routines available already, and more on the way. Use your imagination. |

I'll get this when they start making it in brown. Black is so ordinary!

All the wasted bandwitdh about using a Magic Prop as an every day item. Think about it. Magic Prop wallets are just that. Treat them as precious props just the same way you would any prop. Any discussion about how your prop wallet can't function as an everyday wallet is side noise for the non professional. A prop is a prop. Treat it like any professional would and should. Focus on handling and presentation like all good performers do.
Best, Dave P.S. I love mine. It's a prop treated with due respect for what it is.

Wayne Dobson has simplified the routine using a Himber wallet. I received this routine free as a PDF when I ordered my JL2 Himber from http://www.jl2magic.com

That's a very nice routine.
I have used the predator wallet for years and I still think the trick with the bills is my favourite... I use the bills as a kicker to another trick I do though. Makes more sense and spectators can't possibly back track so easily. I never leave home without mine in my bag... but I use the Scam Wallet as seen in the link above as my every day wallet and makes a great substitue for the predator wallet if you wanted a spare... they are not the same though and more work is needed to turn your scam into a predator which you can only really know if you have bought the predator first... oh god that was confusing, any questions just ask. I actually got typed instructions with my wallet. There was no need for a PDF. Does the PDF have more than the three original routines?
I do not know what a Hideout wallet is but Psycho Killer is an awesome effect. I have been destroying people with it. Highly recommended. I am glad it is priced to keep out of the hands of the merely curious. |
