What are your strongest misdirection techniques for walk-around and table-hopping? btw: Talk About Magic is a treasure. I hope you are considering releasing the collection on CD (or even as downloadables). |

Thanks for the kind words about Talk About Magic. The show belongs to Richard Robinson, however, and, flatteringly, he's been asked many times to release the archive of shows on CD. Perhaps we'll be doing that in the near future.
Regarding misdirection, I am a devotee of Eugene Burger's advice in using someone's name as one of your most powerful misdirectional weapons. There truly is power in learning someone's name, and besides demonstrating that you value them as a person and not just a spectator, simply using their name can get those eyes burning your hands to look up for a moment just when you need them to. |
