Hi All,
Sorry if its too soon to be asking this but I need your help completing a routine of three completely different effects. I'm looking for a one card effect that I can get into from a card that has been folded in half vertically. (ie folded the same way as the cover card in cardwarp and the 1st fold of the MCF). The requirement is that the effect has to be done with a spot card and be power enough to close a three phase routine where phase one is a named card is the only one in the box and phase two is a T&R of the card in the spectators hand. Unless is something special or unique I don't think that I want another T&R to close, an examinable one card link that I can leave with them would be great but I'm open to all suggestions. The deck is not in play during this routine and switching in a gimmicked card isn't an issue if required. Thanks for you time. |

Card to impossible location (like a kennedy mystery box).

Thanks for the ideas so far guys.
I'll look into the band through card, thanks. Card to impossible location was staring me right in the face, cant believe I hadn't considered it but nice one, thanks Adam. It opens up a word of possibilities, straight away I'm thinking I could vanish it and produce it for the spectators wallet with the UCCU. |

Sexten Beme's one card link is examinable, though you may or may not want to have them take it home. Also it would be difficult to switch the gaff in if you're trying to imply that this is the same card as the t&r. I have a handling of it where after the spectator shuffles the deck, they select the card and I do the one card link, hand that out for inspection and then separate the link visually leaving them with all the peices of the card that they can take home if they want and can examine under a microscope. It's as close as I've been able to come to meeting the ultimate linking effect where an item can be inspected before, during and after a link.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |

My favourite card linking effect is 'Conjunction' by Joshua Quinn. It uses a business card, and is a miracle.

Hi All,
Sorry for the break in communication, thanks for the recommendations, your time is appreciated. I've heard a few things about Best Impromptu Linking Card so will investigate. Mr Forrest was kind enough to give me his Smoke Rings one card link as a bonus in his xmas sale so I'll get cracking on that one. The T&R ending sort of ties in with the T&R phase of the routine I'm working on, though I hear that Mr Lorayne's has a great dangle moment which looks a bit freer than Dave's. Given the patter / presentation the card to impossible location is probably the way that I'm going to go with this routine but is good to have options. I'm toying with using torn corner swindle and getting the matching card onto their person somehow to discover for themselves at a later time. Does anyone know any good sources for info on loading objects onto people? |

Stevie - it is never to soon to ask questions. It sounds like you have found a direction to go. So I am hoping not to confuse the situation but torn & restored card by JC Wagner taught by Michael Ammar could be great: http://www.ammarmagic.com/easy-to-master......-dv.html Good luck with your routine.
