I recently seen the magic trick called White As Snow (I know its been around for awhile). While its a powerful visual trick, it does not make sense theologically.
The jar of water starts of clear. The times I have seen it performed, the magician often starts off by saying something along the lines of: "We start of life as babies and we have really not committed any sins." Then the magician says that, "We kind of start of like this clear jar of water, nice and clean." That goes against the doctrine of original sin and the teaching that we are all born in sin. We should make sure our tricks are theologically correct. Maybe start of with the water already being colored. Just because the kids are young does not mean that we should be theologically incorrect. Granted we won't give a 20 minute talk on original sin, but we can teach the it at an age appropriate level.

Angio...I would agree with your assessment of this routine. Perhaps another story line (maybe involving God's INTENT for us to be sin free, which was broken by Adam and Eve) could be written for the effect.

If you are referring to the effect where a cross is put in some stained water- and the water turns clear- see MagicBob perform this at "Magic with a Message One Hour Special- MagicBob and Friends" at http://www.ChristianMagician.org fourth effect in the program. This is available from http://www.gospelmagic.com through Steve Varro.
