However, Alannah’s step by step instruction makes this art form an experience that you will learn so much from and most likely fall in love with. Included in the class, you will learn to properly pose the model, plan your photography, how to plan your body painting so that your creation has a beautiful flow to the design. Be prepared to paint each other’s faces, you are welcome to bring your child as a model, as long as they are old enough to not be disruptive in class. Please register your child. Students will be expected to bring their painting kit, camera, lunch and be ready to have fun! Instructor: Alannah Mason, an Award Winning Artist with over six years of experience face and body painting professionally. Alannah aspires to help new artists gain more confidence using the FX art medium. Alannah understands from her experience the challenges of working with a moving subject, “it’s not as easy as everyone thinks.” Many artists have strengths on paper and canvas; however, they face many difficulties with face painting. Alannah wants to break those barriers and help simplify the process. The experience should always be fun and rewarding not stressful. Alannah can paint 20-25 children per hour with elaborate full face designs depending if the child knows what they want. She would like to help you increase your speed and diversity as a Face Painter. If the passion is there and you have an open mind, you are a great candidate for learning in this Workshop. COST: $160 if your register before January 31st or $185 otherwise.
