If you want a copy of my favourite book "The Secrets of Brother John Hamman" by Richard Kaufman, try this link:
http://www.joyalstack.com/Pages/DejaLu/DejaJKLfr.html He also have "Complete Works of Derek Dingle", also by Richard Kaufman. But you better hurry, I think that Martin only have one of each. Tell him I sent you. Peo

That is a great link... not only for the books, but Joyal's stack is the one I am learning.
Thanks, John |

I think that Martin's "The Six-Hour Memorized Deck" is the best stack.
But that is of course MY opinion. Others might think Aronson's is better, or Osterlinds. My vote goes for mr Joyal. Peo

I don't think osterlind, cause it is just cyclical. you cant get the most mileage out of a cyclical. aronson's IMO is the best because there are built in deals and effects all over the stack that cant be done with joyal. plus with aronson's you get great effects like histed heisted, which if I can remember correctly, cant be done with joyal's without tweaking. and this is one of the best mentalism pieces with cards out there. it will take you longer to learn, but not too much longer and it is overall a much better though out stack. these stacks that are based on rules IMO just have one purpose in mind...to make it easy to learn...the Tamariz and aronson stacks (mnemonic or brute force learning) employs clever effects and deals within that will get you further in your magical endeavors.
