What a sensational lecture.
Some extremely brazen material... which had I read on paper, may not have impressed me much, as I would have passed it off, for me, as unusable. BUT... having seen it in action, with the depth of explanation Pete provides... Im am now happy to say that I have been converted. Great job Pete, Thank you. And... another great job by Patrick as the host!! Nice one, guv! Now... I'm off to look up the word 'exemplified' |

Really enjoyed Peter Turner's lecture. He did mention getting everyone a PDF of the Portugal Notes. Does anyone know how we get them?
Thanks, Carl |

Bugger - brought it last night! Well it was worth every penny anyway so no tears. I have loads of notes to go through from Pete's lecture and in the first set had that same feeling of astonishment that I had when I first saw Derren perform at Duncan Trillo's London convention back in the day...it's wonderful to have that moment when you can still think 'wow...perhaps this is REAL'!

This was easily one of my favorite penguin live lectures, yet. This was my first glimpse into Mr. Turner's thinking. I've been curious to see what all the buzz was about, and in very short time, I realized that he lives up to the "hype". More than anything, I was struck by how passionate he is. Forget the effects and the thinking - just listening to his tangents was incredibly inspiring for me. The standout, for me, was listening to him recount the story of the older couple in the pub. Seeing and hearing the emotion in that story come through was such a profound moment for me. Forget the effect he described - just listen to how affected by it he still is, to this day. It was a very inspiring moment, for me.
His confidence and willingness to take chances had the little hamster in my head running into overdrive. I've only begun to dabble in the riskier performance pieces in the last few years - and I can already see places where I can push my limits. This might have been my first foray into the work of Peter Turner, but I know it's not the last. Fantastic job, Mr. Turner - I would like to thank you for sharing your insight and passion! |

So I'm not the only one who wells up every time he tells that story
As a mentalist you must always ask yourself what if! And throughout your life you should seek to ask and answer this question over and over again, only then will your wildest dreams become a reality!

I also loved the P**ek, and I'm reading the Isabella Star pdf as we speak, this thing is awsome!!! Absolutley worth the price of the lecture, hell probabably triple of the lecture.

You can jazz with it,use it as an out, standalone or incorporate into a larger routine etc. I'm amazed it stayed off so many people's radars for so long - everyone who owned it went crazy over it and were quite vociferous but it never seemed to become as widely known as its quality merits. Which in one way I was glad about as it has been a real goto routine for me since I got it but also it saddened me as I spoke to David Sena at length and to Pete (albeit briefly) and they are such genuinely nice guys I was really rooting for it to take off and get the recognition it deserves - I know Pete's other works are already highly sought after but this is a real gem that seems to have been overlooked. Good for me- its so strong I want to be one of the few using it, sadly/happily (depending on your perspective) Pete showed just how strong it is in his lecture so it might find its way into more sets. Although its inclusion with the lecture was generous of Pete I truly hope it doesn't reduce the perceived value and quality of the material and that those who were given it as a bonus meditate a little on the possibilities and implications of what David and Pete created. I agree with the other poster that it is worth the price of the lecture alone but the lecture... man oh man WHAT a lecture! If this is the style of delivery that is used by Pete on his upcoming DVD set then it really will be the treasure I'm expecting it to be. In short the lecture was presented clearly, passionately with great insight by Pete and also a VERY engaging delivery - the stories and incidental tips coupled with the killer material demonstrated made for one of the most enjoyable 3 hours I've ever spent at my computer (if you chuckled you have a dirty mind!) Truly an inspirational lecture from an inspirational creator of inspirational material. You need this. You REALLY need it. |

I have lost interest in mentalism in the last few months and have drifted over coins. But this has saved me.
But I have just watched this and it is truly inspiring, not just on a mentalism level but on level of attitude and how we should be looking at life. superb |
