Does the card have to be sticking out of the pack or can it be pushed in flush?

I just bought this and it will not play through QuickTime. Is anyone else having this issue? A popup appears and says:
This document "pac_stack.mp4" could not be opened. The movie's file formate isn't recognized. Are any other Mac users having this issue? |

Personally I keep my business cards in my lookout wallet and my PAC stack is in my pocket with blank cards.

Thank you for the help. I just watched this and I think it's super clever. It reminds me of a peek Idid years ago, but it's WAY more deceptive. I will be making one of these up right away! This is awesome.

I finally got around to making this up and I want to kick myself for not doing it sooner.
I love this thing! I set mine up with OTL and am extremely happy with it. |

The thing I love about the PAC stack is the immediacy of 'the sneaky bit'. The assistant inserts their card into the stack and almost immediately the stack is set aside out of play. You seemingly do nothing and yet you've already done 'the sneaky bit', you're miles ahead. With the Lookout Wallet the spectator puts the card into the wallet and closes it. You have to then take possession of the wallet to do 'the sneaky bit'. Although Paul provides several ways of doing this I always felt a bit iffy handling the wallet AFTER the spectator had put their card inside because I really have no legitimate reason to touch the wallet at all. In addition I find that the PAC stack is not as angle sensitive as The Lookout Wallet. PAC stack is virtually angle proof. Although The Lookout Wallet is ingenious I find the handling for the PAC stack more deceptive and natural. Regards, Lar. |

This looks like it would work for the drawing dup on Looch's 4.8 routine.....Cool....
The video makes this look so above board. Ray |

Ray,
If that was a question, the answer is that it absolutely would. I am a bit late to this party, but I have to say that this is an absolutely top notch, rip roaring monster of an idea that ticks all my boxes and gets me hot under the collar. I'd been thinking about getting this since I saw the comments from Lars and Mark (in fact, many people who seem to think along a similar path to myself weighed in) and I am happy to say that I was not led astray. For fifteen bucks, this is a steal. Especially if you work close up at all - this is an absolute must have. Top marks. Best, Atlas |

Is this still an issue for Mac users? I don't really want to download anything to my Mac.
Thanks Darren

I'm not much for constructing things. What's involved besides business cards?

That's partly what you're paying for. It does require a few items, but stuff easily obtainable on-line or Staples.

I don't want to have to go on a scavenger hunt. I'll get this anyway.

This is a great idea but as I thought, I can't imagine having the patience to construct this. I have to call my landlord to change a lightbulb.
