During the 25 years that I lived in the San Francisco Bay area, Dennis was nothing if not a kind and supportive friend. He has left us far too soon, and the magical community is a lesser thing for his absence.

I am very surprised. Dennis was so full of engery and ideas. I spoke to him once for hours about illusions.

So sad to hear this.... Dennis was really one of the "thinkers" who was never content to do "just enough to get by". I sincerely hope that in the years to come young magicians will read his advice here at the Café, and more importantly heed that advice. So few today are willing to do the work, they just want fast answers. Denny did the work as was willing to share his knowledge with us. It will be the wise magician who regards Denny's words.
