Been doing this several months now and I'm still doing it and having great fun with it. You just need a table with a bit of space to spread the cards out so I don't usually do it early in the meal when things are a bit tight space wise but save it for later when there's more room on the table and you've no worries moving cups and glasses out of the way. I've had people from one table come over and watch me do it again at another table and still no-one has commented on the 'move' as the built-in mis-direction is pretty strong. So its not only a worker, its also a keeper.

Thanks guys.
The way the comparison was made with Blizzard in the article was way off the mark. Happy to see people appreciate RO3.

This will definitely be my next purchase this week.

Bought it and love it. This is such a great piece of magic. Amazing ! I think I am going to use it after ID. Recently most of magic I buy kind of follow up ID really well. I don't know what to think about it Anyway money well spent...

So this appears to be out of stock everywhere.
Penguin has a preorder up for a restocking next week- are they the only retailer getting a resupply? No other dealers are listing anything about a resupply. |

I love Blizzard, but always disliked the middle part of the routine (the clairvoyant spectator guessing gig) which I think is awkward and disjointed to the rest of the effect. So, I see this as a vast improvement as far as a routine and congratulate Jon for that aspect as well as the new method. However, I was wondering if anyone else had thought about doing this same type of thing with Dean's method? The "move" could be accomplished while the spectator is turning over the first card (Queen of Hearts), or the second, or third, and would eliminate the need for any statement on the side of the box.
No disrespect to Jon's method, which is clever and good in it's own right, but just curious if Dean's method would be cleaner using the same concept (albeit gutsy and flagrant)? |

Just received this - looking forward to presenting it. Quick question - Can ink from a regular sharpie bleed through the cards?
Is there a better pen to use? Thank you. |

Just opened my RO3 deck after not using it for a couple of months and all the cards on top of the marker cards all have a reversed faded orange number on the faces. An imprint from the card below it.
Used a permanent black marker to write the numbers too. Not happy... |

I've tried different markers and letting the cards set an extended time to dry, but they all tend to ghost after a while. If anyone knows how to avoid this, please let us know. Robert |

Wow! That is quite a task Bart! I haven't used a deck with numbers marked on each card like RO3, but I can see where the "ghosting" could be a problem. Perhaps someone is using a specific type of marker that doesn’t cause such a problem? If so please share!
If I had to place a laminated sheet between each card though, I don’t think I would be using it much. Thanks! Jim |

Over the last 20 years, I've experienced the 'yellow' shadowing on faces of cards.
However, I've only ever noticed it on decks that aren't regularly used. I've found that if you take out a deck from it's box, and just merely give it a spread and an 'airing', then it very rarely takes an imprint. Thankfully, I regularly perform rule of three, and have been using the same deck for nearly 2 years and have never had a problem |
