Does anyone use a Do you use a Collection Management App that they love?
I would like to start taking iphone photos of my tricks and entering them into either a home inventory app or a collection app. Any body have any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks, Ed |

I've been thinking of this for a while. It's been discussed here a few times before.
I suppose you can use Excel, even though it is not that good for database projects. It would do the job you mentioned. I was going to use a database program, FileMaker Pro. You would have to design your own template. There are programs already written for magic inventory, but the names escape me. You can Google "magic inventory". However they do much more than simple inventory and probably cost more than you want to spend.

Hi Ihop,
Yes I have seen a few of the topics here & even posted one of them myself. I currently am using an Excel spreadsheet to track my collection, BUT I would like to slowly migrate it to an Iphone app. I like the Iphone app because I can attach a picture very easily. There are a number of these apps available, but here are the ones I've looked at & I was hoping someone might have had some experience with them: Nest egg https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nest-egg......993?mt=8 Liberty Mutual Home Gallery® App http://www.libertymutual.com/liberty-mut......tory-app my Inventory Manager https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-inven......303?mt=8 MyStuff2 http://www.maddysoft.com/iphone/mystuff/ |

I understand.
I use both an Ipad and a Itouch and it would definitely make data entry much easier. Let me know if you find something suitable. Like I said I was going to use FileMaker Pro and customize it for magic inventory. There is an app for IPhone using FileMaker but I want to save myself the time and wait for something like what you are looking for that is ready to go.

I don't know how well it would translate to collections of magic, but I use this for my movies, books, and computer games.

Thanks for the idea, but I guess I need the dummy version. Ed |

One possibility is Pinterest. Check it out.

Ed - No problem. For what it's worth, I'm sure there's got to be something better out there.

Call me old fashioned, but I use Excel spreadsheet.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |
