Hi Ryan,
I really loved the effects in your dvd (especially Knocked SubConscious!) and I was wondering with other self working or impromptu tricks (published by other magicians) you love. Am sure you know many foolers! Thanks. |

Brain,
Over the years I have become crazy over small principles and I found a few hidden gems. Hard to name most of them because I don’t believe a lot them have been published and I know good handful were in some extinct lecture notes I discovered for $1. But if you haven’t read them yet Woody Aragon, Ramon Rioboo and hidden spots in the Apocalypse and Semi Automatic Card tricks are good to start. But also a gold mine is Scarne on Cards has killer ideas but if you take time to think about them you can blend other ideas with them and make real foolers. I am currently working on two other projects that will be similar in style to my Miracles without Moves DVD. Ryan |

Brain -
They are very hard to give up since you spend so many hours locked away looking for them but I will let 2 slip. Have you seen John Armstrong “Out of this Blah” or Eddie Fields ““Way-Ahead Card to Cardcase”. Both of these effects are foolers but Mr. Fields is differently not for the faint of heart since it is bold. Ryan |

You're so right about the Scarne book. Lots of interesting ideas that can be applied to other effects. Love that book!

I agree. I love digging through that book... There is a TON in there begging to be worked on and some that are amazing as is.

I received the DVD a few days ago and am really pleased. I am a hobbyist and sleights have always been an issue with me. I have watched the DVD several times and feel confident that I can handle the effects. Thank you Ryan - I look forward for more.

Rallister- Most excellent to hear that you will get use of the routines. My thing is if the sleight is not needed and the strength of the routine does not suffer than who cares if it is self working. I am currently in love with this type of magic and can't wait to explore it more.

Thanks for sharing Ryan.
While still waiting your DVD to arrive, I am glad that you made more people start digging into books. After 20 plus years majority magic teaching through videos in all sort of format it is glad to see that books get their attention once again. Gotta pick up your book too. Sincerely,

Steven---
Books are special to me. That is why I did a book before I did a DVD. I have so much respect for them. Ryan |
