For those of you who have been asking about using Supa Thump without an accomplice, here's a brilliant idea from Justin Flom.
This is a VERY strong performance, but it can only be done one on one (you can't do it with a crowd watching). "I'm gonna try to project an image into your mind". "I can only do this with things that I can see. I don't want to use the things that we can see around us ... I wanna go a lot bigger"! "Please turn on your smartphone and launch a web browser. I'm going to do an image search for something". You do an image search on their phone in Google. "Ok, I can see it now and I got it. All the details are clear in my mind. I'm ready to PROJECT"! Leave their phone face down someplace reasonably far away from where you. "I'm gonna leave your phone here so that it can't hear us". "Imagine the tips of my index fingers are like projectors". You show the tips of your two index fingers as you hold your hands up in front of you in two pointing gestures pointing up and towards their eyes". "Please close your eyes. I'll place my fingers gently on your eyelids and project an image into your mind". Place your "two index" fingers on their eye lids and say ... "Name any three or four letter word". They say, "boat". "That's EXACTLY right ... I'm going to remove my fingers and I want you to get your phone and look to see what I had image searched for". They open their eyes and walk to their face down phone and pick it up to discover that you had done an image search of a BOAT!!! A BIG thank you to Justin Flom for coming up with this AMAZING performance of Supa Thump without an accomplice. G Ro |

Hello friends,
One of the users of Supa Thump (Kourosh) has stumbled upon one of our easter eggs. This is BY FAR one of the most powerful thumpers in Supa Thump. It's called Images (Receiver): As the name implies, this is a RECEIVER in contrast to all other thumpers that are transmitters. Once you create an "Image (Receiver)" thumper, in the settings you will give this receiver the URL of the 1st image . . . let's say this is a close up photo of Houdini's face. When you type the URL of this thumper into a spectator's device, the 1st image will be displayed in their browser (Houdini's face). Now, you can use ANY other transmitter thumper to change the image URL to be anything else. For example, let's say you've created a card thumper and in the URL field of the images you've put 52 different images of the same Houdini close-up photo but the reflections in the eyes show all 52 different cards. Hence, your presentation is: "Here's a photo of Houdini" You go to the URL of the receiver thumper on their device. Show the photo to everyone and leave their device face UP on the table. "Name any card" . . . let's say they name the two of clubs. Your accomplice would use the card thumper to input the "2 of clubs". The face up image on their phone will now change, BUT there is NO FLASH . . . nothing seems to have changed. Have them pick up their device. "Everyone that looks at that photo names the '2 of clubs' why don't you zoom into Houdini's eyes". When they pinch zoom into the photo they discover the reflections in his eyes are a "2" in one eye and a "Club" in the other!!!! enjoy, G Ro P.S. As an added bonus, unlike the web thumper, you can REPEATEDLY thump that page any image you like. So you can constantly change the image (or animated gif) that will be displayed on their device WITHOUT ANY flashes or anything changing (other than the image). Imagine going to a photo on your website of you holding a card, cover the part of the photo that has the card in your hand with ANY selected card, and magically the card in your hand can change to their selection . . . on THEIR phone!!! And, oh, BTW, this was in Supa Thump months before MagicWebFX came out! This opens up a whole new set of performance options that were previously impossible. |

In the eternal quest for performing Supa Thump's web thumper without an accomplice here's a new way of inputing the information right in front of your spectators.
You set up your iPhone's timer for one minute so that it'll ding you like you're receiving a text message. If you time it right, when your spectator reveals their selection, you'll quickly excuse yourself to quickly answer the text. I just uploaded a ring tone on my server that sounds exactly like the note tone (SMS/text tone) on iOS. rostamimagic.com/note_long.m4r.zip Once you download and unzip this file, simply double click it so that it will be added to your Ringtones in iTunes. Connect your iPhone to your computer, and make sure to sync your new ringtone with your device. Now, in the Clock app select the timer tab and set "When Timer Ends" to be your new "note_long". Be sure to turn off vibrate on your phone, and you're ready to perform. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Greg P.S. This works GREAT with center tears or other methods of peeking at your spectator's selection. |

Supa Thump has been messed up on my iPhone 6 plus for almost a year now. When you try to thump a number between 5 and 9 you always receive a 1011 pattern. I brought this up on the support page in a couple of places and it hasn't been addressed. Is anyone else having this problem? It seems that Inject is getting all of the attention and bugs that render the app useless have been unaddressed for over a year.

Hi Chris,
In the settings of any of your thumpers, under "Vibration Settings" change the duration to 500 ms. That should fix everything. This is only a problem on the iPhone 6s and 6s+ (any maybe the iPhone 6+). Let me know if that works for you. Greg |

Greg,
Thanks for the response. That was the problem. It works like a charm. Oh how I have missed this app. We'll see what new challenges the iPhone 7s bring with it. Thanks again, Chris

Dear friends,
Apple has removed Supa Thump from the app store because it has not been updated for a while. For all of the existing customers of Supa Thump, everything will continue to function without any interruptions. Within the next few weeks we will resubmit a new version of Supa Thump for approval. thank you, Greg Rostami |

With new functionality? (Not sure what else could be added) I love Supa Thump and feel it has been neglected due to the interest in inject. Both awesome apps with different functions. I hope people are still purchasing it; you can perform miracles with it. Biggest concern is that it stays updated through future iphone releases.

Hi Chris,
I don't think we'll be adding any new functions to Supa Thump, but you never know. There are MANY stage magicians that surprisingly use Supa Thump as their thumper of choice. I forgot to mention that the Android version of Supa Thump is still available for purchase. all the best, Greg |

I have been waiting a while on this but haven’t seen an update. When will supathump be updated to work on the newest os? Apple’s newest policy doesn’t limit the functionality of an old app, it prevents the old app from even running. I have inject and enjoy it, but this was my go to app. I sold off my physical thumpers and just used this.

Sorry about the delay responding ...
I've been putting out a lot of fires regarding the release of Cosmos 3 and Inject 2.0 I apologize for the lack of updates for our 32 bit apps. As you know, when Apple or Google update the OS a lot changes. When Apple decides to ban all 32 bit apps, this STOPS all 32 bit apps that worked perfectly in the previous OS. All of us at Rostami Magic (Randy, Hani and I), have wives and kids with daytime jobs that pay the bills. Since I must pay both Randy and Hani, I have to carefully prioritize what I ask them to program. If the magic market was as big as the game market, I would have full time programmers that would update everything all the time. Unfortunately, since the magic market is VERY small, with our limited resources, sometimes it's difficult to keep up with the constant OS changes. Obviously, our popular products always have TOP priority. We KNOW that we have thousands of customers that rely on these products. Hence, we make SURE we constantly update those products to work with your current OS. With that said, we will be updating our 32 bit apps to 64. Please give us some time to fix the bugs in our products so that we can update our older apps and get you back up and running. We appreciate your patience and once again apologize for the delay. Greg,
Thank you for the update. Sorry for posting the question in numerous threads. Would there be a way to make Inject 2 do what Supathump does? I would assume many of us own both apps .. heck, I think I own every app you put out.
