Perfect. Hiding in plain sight.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Makeupguy: Wow, that is fantastic! Not sure I could make it work for producing bouquets of flowers, but must be perfect for producing a monster puppet or similar... And it would work for several different age groups.

I´ve also reached the conclusion that I might have to just either build one myself or rebuild a stock item - I think I´ll go for the latter solution for my first try - just buy one of the cheaper ones and rebuild it to suit my needs. (Having one custom made would be great, but I guess it would also be very expensive...) |

Up front, I'd agree that your best choice right now it to buy one that's in your budget and re-work it to fit your show. As someone mentioned above, the problem with most stock SCs is that they look totally generic, basically built and decorated according to what the builder thought looks nice (or saw in an old book), and can look out of place no matter what the show is. It creates much more of a professional image to have props that fit your character and style.

George: Yes, I guess most SCs have to be that way to be sellable to a larger crowd. Being quite new to all these magic items amd therefore buying several props at the same time, I have the advantage of being able to collect a set of props that all look well together, both the items I redecorate or build from scratch and the items I use as they are. It´s a lot of fun
ClintonMagus: Good point! If it was white without the stickers, that would definitely work |

Rich Hill makes very nice equipment. Not sure if it is in your budget, but certainly worth the price.

BillHegbli: Oh, that is nice! But it needs to be a SC or similar for this particular routine. I´ll keep the fan in mind for other routines, thank you!
Boppies2: Thank you! I´ve seen that and it´s gorgeous! But I need something a bit more colorful. It´s definitely on my wish list, though! Bill: It does not have to be collapsible as long as it fits in my suitcase...but of course collapsible is a great advantage! |

After MANY requests I have mustered up the enthusiasm to make FOUR of my spectacular production tubes. These are the last four I will ever make and these definitely will not be made again. One is already sold, leaving . . um . . . (Carry the zero . . ) THREE.
Since I only made four I did not take the time to get a great quality video, but I have a video. E mails will be sent to everyone on my mailing list and I'm guessing these will be gone forever by the end of this day. These are larger than the original tubes I made before and will fit a much bigger load. Check out the video. These are $300 + Shipping. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejGdePTe4uM Tommy Quote:

I'm so glad I found this thread! A production box seems simpler than a Temple Screen.

I love the 'professional square circle'. The yellow color is great. A little wish is to buy once one.
But the SC from makeupguy... Wow! that's looks good! But... I don't see this at the site of wack-o-magic. What is the costs of this one? |

A suggestion if you find a bargain in one that is right for you except appearance, get Michael Baker here on The Magic Café to redecorate and refinish it for you. His work is fabulous!
