I'd like to do Wild Card in a parlor setting. Can anyne suggest a suitable version or maybe handling tips?
Would Tom Dobrowolski's routine work in this setting? My primary concern is visibility. |

Tom's would be a good choice.

You have to constantly perform with the cards facing the audience. A Table Mate table covered with a felt tablecloth and slanted towards the audience is helpful and it allows you to either stand or sit while performing with cards as in this example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMMhv8VD5vw

I suggest my friend Peter Samelson's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". Beautiful and perfect for parlour.

Both suggestions are good, as is Peter Kane's "Gipsy Curse" .As I suggested in my packet trick book "Small But Deadly" it can be done without a table and the three cards normally tabled, angled/anchored in the jacket breast pocket or behind the lapel (see p.46).There are no shortage of versions if you're going to use a table so I guess it really depends more on which patter/presentation approach most appeals to you.
